Garlic Bread

Ingredients

Softened butter

Garlic

Black pepper and basil or thyme

A loaf of bread (unsliced)

Method

Cut slices into the bread but not all the way so it remains as one piece.

In a bowl mix the softened butter with crushed garlic and the spices.

With a spoon or flat knife put butter into the bread covering both sides (be generous)

When all butter is used wrap the whole loaf in tin foil.  Place in the oven 10-12 minutes before serving.
