500g diced beef
2 or 3 carrots
1 large onion
3-4 tsps Gravy powder
Oxo cube (stock cube)
Salt and pepper
2-3 glasses Water
2 tbsp flour
Put beef in a pan, cover with water and boil for about 15 mins.
Meanwhile chop and dice all veggies and place in a large pot (I use a terracotta casserole pot).
Mix gravy powder with a little cold water to form a liquid paste and then add water. (If using instant gravy use hot water).
Add the mix and an oxo cube (stock cube) to the beef.
Now pour beef mixture over the veg and mix.
Cook in oven for about 2 hours at 180c.
If juice is too watery, mix a spoon of flour with a little cold water in a separate cup then add to stew and continue cooking.
